Courts run by Prince George’s Parks (M-NCPPC). The Watkins Tennis Bubble is paid: each group needs a reservation. PG Parks lists which parks have tennis courts, but for most it doesn’t list how many or whether they’re lit, so we don’t either. Check hours and reservations before you go.

The Watkins Tennis Bubble is open until 9 pm Monday to Friday and until 7 pm on weekends. A 2016-17 inventory in a Prince George’s Parks plan for Watkins Regional Park lists four lighted outdoor courts, so confirm with the bubble before a night game. Neighborhood parks like Largo-Northampton, Marlboro Meadows and Marlton are listed as open dawn to dusk.

No. The Miles Ahead Tennis app is for adults: users must be 18 or older. For kids, Miles Ahead Tennis runs entry-level kids classes at The Country Club at Woodmore.
Our group classes run at The Country Club at Woodmore (12320 Pleasant Prospect Rd, Mitchellville), about 10 miles from the Upper Marlboro town center and about 4 miles from Watkins Regional Park: entry-level kids classes, intermediate programs and community programs, with full-session or drop-in options. Prefer one-on-one? Find a private coach on our booking site. Schools can also bring tennis on campus with portable courts through the Miles Ahead Foundation.
